Dr Roslyn Joy Irving
Secretary

Roslyn completed her PhD at the University of Liverpool and Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in October 2023, with a thesis on the Gothic and literary historiography. She works as a lecturer at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. Her research interests include the Gothic, Form, Poetry, and Prospect. Outside of developing her monograph, Roslyn actively researches abolition literature, romanticism, and the form of the novella. She is also part of the BARS executive committee.
