Dr Jess Kebbel
Comms Officer (Social Media)

Jess Kebbel is a Lecturer in Criminology at Coventry University alongside completing my PhD studies at the University of Leicester, researching The Howard League for Penal Reform between 1866 and 1948. She received her undergraduate degree in Law and Criminology from the University of Lincoln, graduating with a 2:1 LLB (Hons) in 2016. Jess then studied part-time for her Criminology Masters at the University of Leicester between 2016 and 2018, followed by a Social Science Research Masters between 2018 and 2019. Her research interest is in the history of criminal justice reform, having previously completed a master’s dissertation on Barrow and Geraldine Cadbury.
